Because of the difficulty getting appointments to get our rescue cats altered in a timely manner, we recently launched our pre-spay/neuter adoption program. The cat you are interested in may be part of this program and will have at least it’s first FVRCP vaccine, a microchip registered to us and will have been treated for internal and external parasites. Please fill out our screening form and after reviewing and confirming your information, our adoption counselor will reach out to you to explain the process.
Tippy – the most adventurous male of the litter. Tippy loves human interaction. He loves to climb, play and snuggle with his foster family. Tippy has a little white tip on his tail and one white tipped ear. I predict he will be a lap cat someday. Tippy is all little boy! He is full of energy and loves to play with his littermates, his foster’s own cats & dogs, and humans alike. He loves to sit in a chair next to a window and watch outside, and he loves watching the fish in the aquarium. Tippy is very clever. He has a habit of tilting his head sideways and looking inquisitively at his foster mom when his curiosity has been peaked. He is also very sensitive. Once when his foster mom had a bad tooth ache that drove her to tears, he tilted his head sideways and looked at his foster mom as if to say, “what’s the matter mama?” He will be a perfect fit for most any household situation. He has benefited by having his natural mother raise and nurse him. This kitten is healthy, happy and ready for a new home.
Thank you for your interest in one of our adoptable kitties. All of our kitties are fully vetted (age-appropriate vaccines, spayed, tested for feline leukemia and feline aids, and they are microchipped.) They live in private foster homes with their foster families. Our adoption fees are $75 - $125. In order to match the best home for our foster kitties, we ask folks to complete our adoption application in advance; simply go to www.candyscats.org/forms. You will need to register on our site, then fill out an Adoption Application. We'll review your information and get back in touch with you. Cats are not adopted first-come, first-served, but rather the best home for the kitty, but we do give consideration to the folks who take the time to fill out the application in advance. Almost all of our volunteers work during the week; to be able to meet one of our cats by appointment during non-adoption days (Saturday, 11 - 4, Sunday 12 - 4), your application needs to be filled out in advance and approved by our adoption coordinator prior to scheduling an appointment to meet with the cats.
