We are sorry that you are unable to continue to care for the cat(s) you adopted from us or who were previously adopted from our rescue. By providing us with the answers to our questions regarding cats being returned, we are able to try to get them returned to us faster.

Cat Surrender (Previously Adopted From Us):

• Please email rescuecoordinator@candyscats.org to request a form for returning your cat(s).
• Please provide:
• Adopter’s Name.
• Cat(s) Name ( these may have been changed but if you remember the original names it is helpful).
• Adoption Year (estimate).
• Timeframe of when you need to surrender the cat(s).

 

Intake Request:

• Once completed, your form will be reviewed and a volunteer will contact you . Please provide as manydetails as possible in order for us to be able to determine if we can provide help.
• If able to foster or assist with vet costs.

 

Temporary Fostering:

• Agreement required if intake request accepted. 
• Cats receive medical services including spay/neuter, vaccinations, and testing. 
• Fostering duration: vetting period then adoption process. 
• Adoption locations: Apopka Adoption Cottage or PetSmart in Winter Garden.

Candy's Cats, Inc. incorporated in 2005 as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, no-kill cat rescue, licensed in the state of Florida to received charitable donations.

Disclaimer:    Donations made to CCI.    CCI reserves the right to use donations made to CCI for the best interests of the animals in our care.    If you are donating to support a particular fund raising effort and the funds raised exceed the goal of the particular fund raising effort, the excess funds will be deposited into the general  operating fund for use in helping all animals in the care of CCI as CCI deems appropriate. All monies donated go to the vetting, medicine, spay / neuter, food, litter, operations and supplies necessary to care for the animals and administrate CCI as a 501(c)3.    All donations are tax deductible.
