Because of the difficulty getting appointments to get our rescue cats altered in a timely manner, we recently launched our pre-spay/neuter adoption program. The cat you are interested in may be part of this program and will have at least it’s first FVRCP vaccine, a microchip registered to us and will have been treated for internal and external parasites. Please fill out our screening form and after reviewing and confirming your information, our adoption counselor will reach out to you to explain the process. 

After being adopted since 2008, Candy's Cats received a phone call that Scooter was found, abandoned in Charleston, South Carolina.  Imagine our surprise when we found out he had been declawed!

Road trip to re-rescue Scooter, after running a comprehensive blood work, he's in excellent health.  The rescuer has said he is very loving, gives "hugs" with his paws.  He spent five days with her gentle, older cats and was fine with them, but when placed with a male kitty, he did growl a little bit. 

We think because he has spent time outdoors that he would like to be on a screened in porch area where he can observe nature.

Sweet love bug who wandered up to his foster mommy's door, crying to come in. He's people friendly, affectionate and playful, does well with other animals.
