Candy's Cats

Because of the difficulty getting appointments to get our rescue cats altered in a timely manner, we recently launched our pre-spay/neuter adoption program. The cat you are interested in may be part of this program and will have at least it’s first FVRCP vaccine, a microchip registered to us and will have been treated for internal and external parasites. Please fill out our screening form and after reviewing and confirming your information, our adoption counselor will reach out to you to explain the process. 

Fluff is a big, sweet, loveable boy who loves to be scratched around his head and ears and would be content with you doing that all day long. He was part of a colony for about a year and a half and he grew to be so friendly that he was rescued along with his best friend and colony buddy Binx (they must be adopted together). Fluff is timid, scared of loud voices, noises and sudden movements. Because of this he needs a quiet home with adults. He is also scared of alphas and would be best in a home with only Binx or other cats who are not alpha or aggressive. Fluff is special needs -- he requires prescription wet Royal Canin SO to break down urinary crystals. Also, Fluff is FIV+, which just means if his white blood cells decrease, his ability to fight infection decreases. The virus is slow acting and most cats live a normal, healthy life span. (The virus cannot be passed to human or other species.) Fluff is not aggressive and can live with FIV negative cats like his buddy Binx. (Fluff is currently in a foster home with eight other cats besides Binx.) Please consider making Fluff and Binx part of your forever family. It's likely his personality will flourish if given time in a patient, loving and understanding home, but keep in mind he may always remain shy.

We do not adopt on a first-come, first serve basis but rather we adopt our cats to their new families according to the best fit for the cat.
