Because of the difficulty getting appointments to get our rescue cats altered in a timely manner, we recently launched our pre-spay/neuter adoption program. The cat you are interested in may be part of this program and will have at least it’s first FVRCP vaccine, a microchip registered to us and will have been treated for internal and external parasites. Please fill out our screening form and after reviewing and confirming your information, our adoption counselor will reach out to you to explain the process.

Capt. Jack and Milo were adopted and returned after several months.  Capt. Jack's motto is "a stranger is a friend I haven't met yet"! Anyone that walks through the door is immediately greeted and, if standing by the bar or sitting, will soon have a friendly cat near by, looking to be pet! Jack loves to get attention and will curl up on the lap or at the feet of his human companion(s), ready for lots of love.

Jack has spent the last few months with 2 other cats and has earned his title of Captain Jack as he is a born leader! Milo/Sinatra Eyes is his First Mate and would likely be happy to stay with him but he would also be a great solo cat to a person seeking a companion cat that wants to give lots of love and attention.

He is great around kids - he doesn't even mind being chased - actually enjoys the hunt and chases back!

Jack is also a great FL cat and will quickly hunt down any lizards or other creatures that may find their way into the house.

Jack is returned because he keeps trying to run out the door.

When first rescued, this was my story:

My name is Rescue!  I was only about 4 weeks old and was spotted falling into a manhole on International Drive!  The man who saw me
contacted the Orange County Officer on duty there who Contacted Orange County Fire Rescue who crawled down into that manhole and got me out!!  I was a little thing, Less than a pound! The Sherriff lady took me to her friend (my now Foster Mommy) to get healthy and to make new friends!  I love to run and play and hardly have time for
anything else except eating (which I LOVE!)  Very Sweet!  PS. My eye is fine.  I just hurt it in the Fall!
