Scruffy is a potentially blind kitty- due to damage and infection that was left untreated when she was a "feral" kitten who was rescued by  her current foster mom Lisa.  Lisa says this about Miss Scruffy!

Scruffy is a 5 month old kitten that was trapped here at Portofino. At first i thought Scruffy would be feral... but, she is a SWEET SWEET purrrrrr engine. She loves to be petted, and just loves to sit on my lap. She is for sure a lap kitten. She just cant get enough attention!!!

When i trapped her, she had a bad bad eye infection, and when the vet saw her, he for sure said she would be blind due to the infection that was left untreated... He actually asked me if i would like to get her euthazied as she wont be able to survive out there on her own. I didnt want to do that, and asked the vet to do whatever he could to save her... She is on antibiotics for the infection, as well as some supplements to build her immune system up... Her eyes are sooo much better and I am sure she will regain some of her sight. I am taking her back to the vet for a follow up on Friday.

Like i said, she is SUPER soft and fluffy, and very very sweet... She perks up and runs our of her carrier when i get in the room to play with her. The minute i sit down, she is right on my lap, ready to be loved. In the week alone that I have had her, she has shown so much personality!!! She is going to make someone very very happy. The vet recommended for her to go to a home where she will be the only pet, but i will not put that in the add yet, as I really think her sight is going to come back... If not all of it, some :)
