Because of the difficulty getting appointments to get our rescue cats altered in a timely manner, we recently launched our pre-spay/neuter adoption program. The cat you are interested in may be part of this program and will have at least it’s first FVRCP vaccine, a microchip registered to us and will have been treated for internal and external parasites. Please fill out our screening form and after reviewing and confirming your information, our adoption counselor will reach out to you to explain the process.
Chai was hand raised as a bottle baby. He is very sweet, likes to talk and chortle, to wake you in the mornings or even alert you to the fact that he is ready to play…! He is great with other cats- likes to wrestle pretty roughly but not mean or aggressively, just a typical teenage boy, flexing his muscles. When he is after his housemates he nips or chews on the backs of their legs as they are running away- all in good fun(one of his constant playmates is a large male who outweighs him and a smaller male who gives him a run for his money in the wrestling department). after he has exhausted himself he likes to curl up with his foster mate Flicka and relax. He is also a pillow hider(meaning he hides behind bed pillows or sleep in between them) Very relaxed king of the castle. He is not a carry around cat- too much to see and do, but he will hop up in your lap or curl up next to you in bed or on the couch and knead all the while purring and making goo-goo eyes at you…be warned he drools while kneading/purring and ogling! He will be best in a house with a playmate and family members who do not want a carry around cat, but that understand his curiosity and appreciate that about him. He is always nearby and when in doubt check the bed where he typically sprawls out with his tail curled at the end!
