Because of the difficulty getting appointments to get our rescue cats altered in a timely manner, we recently launched our pre-spay/neuter adoption program. The cat you are interested in may be part of this program and will have at least it’s first FVRCP vaccine, a microchip registered to us and will have been treated for internal and external parasites. Please fill out our screening form and after reviewing and confirming your information, our adoption counselor will reach out to you to explain the process.
Hi, I'm Checkers and as you can see, I'm very pretty. If you meet me at the store, I'm frozen in fear. The smells, the noises, the size - all pretty overwhelming for me. When Mommy Candy brought me home, I let her know how glad I was to be home and I rubbed her feet for her, lavishing her with my purr song. One tiny detail. I really don't like to be picked up and carried. If you let me come to you, I love to be pet, but I can be a bit of a diva in that I want to come to you when I want to be petted. Then it is okay. Otherwise, I will hide. I get along really well with friendly cats but I do boss the passive ones around, just because I am a lap hog. Not too sure about the dog thing, though, depends on the dog.
