Domestic Short Hair / Russian Blue / Mixed (short coat) : : Female (spayed) : : Adult : : Small
Because of the difficulty getting appointments to get our rescue cats altered in a timely manner, we recently launched our pre-spay/neuter adoption program. The cat you are interested in may be part of this program and will have at least it’s first FVRCP vaccine, a microchip registered to us and will have been treated for internal and external parasites. Please fill out our screening form and after reviewing and confirming your information, our adoption counselor will reach out to you to explain the process.
She is called by the nickname JoJo and has lots of love to give, and hopes you are the one to earn her trust, because her heart is ready to fill up with love for her forever home!! She is very sweet, very shy and sometimes fearful and needs a very special and very patient family who will help her learn to trust. She wants to trust, but she is scared to. She's a wonderful kitty and would make a wonderful and loyal companion for someone!
She sheds far less than my other cats with the same length (short) hair. Her hair feels like a bunny rabbit's! SO SO SOFT!
She likes to play hard to get and will run away if you try to pick her up off the ground, which is so silly because she adores good pets. At night she sleeps on her foster Mom's bed and loves to be pulled up to snuggle. She has such a sweet purr. She loves toys and helps herself to the cat toybox. She loves to play in the middle of the living room for everyone to see. She has plenty of personality and always keeps her foster mom laughing.
JoJo takes a few days to get used to new kitties, but she tolerates her foster siblings fine and her foster Mom thinks she even caught her playing with the littler foster kittens (but JoJo will never admit it!) I know she loves to be the center of attention, so she'd be happy as an only cat, too. She's flexible.
Due to her very timid demeanor JoJo needs to go to a home with no children or dogs.
