Manx (short coat) : : Male (neutered) : : Adult
Because of the difficulty getting appointments to get our rescue cats altered in a timely manner, we recently launched our pre-spay/neuter adoption program. The cat you are interested in may be part of this program and will have at least it’s first FVRCP vaccine, a microchip registered to us and will have been treated for internal and external parasites. Please fill out our screening form and after reviewing and confirming your information, our adoption counselor will reach out to you to explain the process. Euthanized 8/18/23 liver tumor
What can I tell you about me? I was rescued from a Lake County colony as a sick kitty and it was discovered I was declawed. I had no way to defend myself, forage easily for food - life was hard for me. Since being rescued by the shelter, and subsequently brought into Candy's Cats, I've had all sorts of testing done, medication and such. The bottom line for me is I may have IBD - I tend to have to use the litter box frequently, but I'm very good about using it. If you can overlook the softness of my business, I'm sweet, affectionate, have a grumpy face but I'm not grumpy. Not a fan of other cats and no dogs. I stand up for myself, and am respected in the current foster home, but need someone who understands senior cats who are declawed have issues.
