Because of the difficulty getting appointments to get our rescue cats altered in a timely manner, we recently launched our pre-spay/neuter adoption program. The cat you are interested in may be part of this program and will have at least it’s first FVRCP vaccine, a microchip registered to us and will have been treated for internal and external parasites. Please fill out our screening form and after reviewing and confirming your information, our adoption counselor will reach out to you to explain the process.

I’m Sara. I came from a home with too many cats so I didn't get a lot of attention, but I  have a sweet personality. I love being pet and love to do the elevator stretch when you pet my back. I don’t know if I have ever been with a dog and would love to be adopted with my mom, Shania. I have been with some of the children volunteers and get along with them but they are very well behaved and don’t yell or make a lot of noise around me. 

One thing about me. When I walk I hop, sort of like a bunny. There are no broken bones, there may be some tissue damage but it doesn’t stop me from climbing onto your lap or a comfy sofa or cat tree to hang out.

Our kittens and cats are not adopted on a first come, first serve basis. We make an effort to match the perfect person or family with each cat/kitten. If there are two names together, those are bonded cats and we will not separate them. All of our  kittens  MUST have a kitten, cat and/or dog companion,  unless otherwise noted.  In some cases, our adults may need to have a companion but read the description as it will be listed there. Please read down to the bottom of this kitty's page to find out more details about its personality.

We've gone digital! Please complete our adoption application in advance at www.candyscats.org/forms Screening Form. You will need to register on our site. We'll review your information and get back in touch with you.  Every one of our kitties are fully-vetted (age-appropriate vaccines, spayed, tested for feline leukemia and feline aids, and they are microchipped.) They live in private foster homes with their foster families. Our adoption fees are $75 - $125.
