Candy's Cats

Because of the difficulty getting appointments to get our rescue cats altered in a timely manner, we recently launched our pre-spay/neuter adoption program. The cat you are interested in may be part of this program and will have at least it’s first FVRCP vaccine, a microchip registered to us and will have been treated for internal and external parasites. Please fill out our screening form and after reviewing and confirming your information, our adoption counselor will reach out to you to explain the process. 

My name is Rakastaa I am a sweet but shy, beautiful kitty. All my brothers and systers got adopted long long time ago. I have been to adoption events for ages and it seems that because I am hissy and scared and not purring and rubbing on cage, people always look the other way, and  do not even try to give me a chance to warm their lap or their hearts by takingme home,even for a trial run!

I mean no harm by hissing I am just expressing to the world that I am scared and very afraid when my environment is changed.

Trust me I won't hurt a fly.

I have a new foster mommy and I adjusted to her within 2 hours. You can ask her and cverify my"story" of me always doing the hiss and then meow, and hiss again and meow again. I guess this is how I talk :-) I will come up to you for pets, then I purr and I will roll belly up for tommy rubs. 

I do great with other cats and would be a great second cat.  I need a quiet home with someone who is very patient and understands that it could take me some time to feel safe. 

My obsession? Cat treats! I purr as loud as a freight train when you bring out the cat treats - they are my favorite thing in the world and the key to my heart.
