Because of the difficulty getting appointments to get our rescue cats altered in a timely manner, we recently launched our pre-spay/neuter adoption program. The cat you are interested in may be part of this program and will have at least it’s first FVRCP vaccine, a microchip registered to us and will have been treated for internal and external parasites. Please fill out our screening form and after reviewing and confirming your information, our adoption counselor will reach out to you to explain the process.

Meet Pearl!

Pearl was found outside of the West Oakes Mall near a dumpster, crying at people passing by to help her.  She gratefully settled into her rescuer's, now foster mom's arms at once when she scooped her up.  She belonged to someone once, clearly.  But she’d been abandoned, her backbone protruding from hunger, and she’d had babies, while still a kitten herself.  In contrast to the situation she was found in, Pearl is a gem. Her fur is thick silk, her coloring a gorgeous mix of buff and gray, her manners excellent, and her temperament sweet and affectionate. Pearl is perfect by herself with a human to love or can be in a home with a cat friendly doggie and children.

 

 

 

Our kittens and cats are not adopted on a first come, first serve basis. We make an effort to match the perfect person or family with each cat/kitten. If there are two names together, those are bonded cats and we will not separate them. All of our  kittens  must have a kitten, cat and/or dog companion,  unless otherwise noted.  In some cases, our adults may need to have a companion but read the description as it will be listed there. Please read down to the bottom of this kitty's page to find out more details about its personality.

We've gone digital! Please complete our adoption application in advance at www.candyscats.org/forms Screening Form. You will need to register on our site. We'll review your information and get back in touch with you.  Every one of our kitties are fully-vetted (age-appropriate vaccines, spayed, tested for feline leukemia and feline aids, and they are microchipped.) They live in private foster homes with their foster families. Our adoption fees are $75 - $125.
