Because of the difficulty getting appointments to get our rescue cats altered in a timely manner, we recently launched our pre-spay/neuter adoption program. The cat you are interested in may be part of this program and will have at least it’s first FVRCP vaccine, a microchip registered to us and will have been treated for internal and external parasites. Please fill out our screening form and after reviewing and confirming your information, our adoption counselor will reach out to you to explain the process.

Penny Lou was found in the bushes of a gas station during a rain storm.  She was a wet little rat that had a pitiful cry.  After getting her adjusted to her new foster home she quickly became the queen of the house.  Since I foster I had another cat that she soon attached herself to as his protector.  I already had other cats and they found it amusing to pick on Boo Boo Bear and randomly did so, even in front of us.  After a month or so of this, she decided she had enough and started to go after them.  Well, she doesn't let Boo Boo Bear play by himself, she is always with him, he can't even eat and drink alone.  Where one is the other is not far behind.  I would like to keep them together for they have bonded.  I have estimated her birthday around August or September of 2009.  I would say she is very strong willed, determined and stubborn but she is a lover, shes gentle, and very trusting.  She's great with all people but she is wonderful with people that don't mind her climbing all over them and letting her sleep with them.  A real snuggle bug.  She is also very vocal, whether she's just talking to you, or getting petted.  When she plays at first you think she's fighting, but trust me she's not.  She's very loud and I often say she's a little over dramatic when playing with other cats, almost a little mouthy!  :-)  Thats a tomboy for you!!
