Because of the difficulty getting appointments to get our rescue cats altered in a timely manner, we recently launched our pre-spay/neuter adoption program. The cat you are interested in may be part of this program and will have at least it’s first FVRCP vaccine, a microchip registered to us and will have been treated for internal and external parasites. Please fill out our screening form and after reviewing and confirming your information, our adoption counselor will reach out to you to explain the process.

How are you? My name is Freedom. My foster family named me Freedom because I had lived a life in constant fear for my kittens and I and now that I have been rescued, I am FREE to show everyone the incredibly sweet personality that has been inside me all along!!!! I am extremely devoted to the people that love me. I will follow my foster family around until I am satisfied with the amount of love and attention they have given me. My favorite is to be held nice and tight all curled up! Then, I love to lay in the sun and enjoy the safety, peace, and relaxation that I am so grateful to be able to enjoy now. I do not like dogs, as I have had to fend off many dogs from my previous kittens. My foster family says I don’t seem to mind being with other cats. I can’t wait to find my forever family that I can be FREE to love forever and ever!! Will you be my family?

 

 

 

 

Thank you for your interest in one of our adoptable kitties. All of our kitties are fully vetted (age-appropriate vaccines, spayed, tested for feline leukemia and feline aids, and they are microchipped.) They live in private foster homes with their foster families. Our adoption fees are $75 - $125.

In order to match the best home for our foster kitties, we ask folks to complete our adoption application in advance; simply go to www.candyscats.org/forms. You will need to register on our site, then fill out an Adoption Application. We'll review your information and get back in touch with you.

Cats are not adopted first-come, first-served, but rather the best home for the kitty, but we do give consideration to the folks who take the time to fill out the application in advance. Almost all of our volunteers work during the week; to be able to meet one of our cats by appointment during non-adoption days (Saturday, 11 - 4, Sunday 12 - 4), your application needs to be filled out in advance and approved by our adoption coordinator prior to scheduling an appointment to meet with the cats.
