Because of the difficulty getting appointments to get our rescue cats altered in a timely manner, we recently launched our pre-spay/neuter adoption program. The cat you are interested in may be part of this program and will have at least it’s first FVRCP vaccine, a microchip registered to us and will have been treated for internal and external parasites. Please fill out our screening form and after reviewing and confirming your information, our adoption counselor will reach out to you to explain the process.

Hi! My name is Cameron and I am a beautiful kitten with a very exotic look. I have long legs and big ears, and my foster family thought I might have a little Bengal or exotic cat in me, because of my good looks and athletic personality, or should I say purrrsonality! Unlike a purebred exotic cat, I am not high-maintenance and do not require an extensive amount of exercise or stimulation, I just need the same kind of attention any cat needs. Scratching posts, toys, places to explore, and a little room to stretch my legs. I am really fun to play with because I am a natural hunter. I like to play with a feather on a stick, or a mouse on a string, and really put all my effort into catching that toy as a gift for you! I am playful and athletic but I am also very sweet. I love to be petted, and I can be held, but I don't want to be held for a long time (most cats don't really want that anyways) but I will snuggle on your lap. I get along with other cats, and I haven't reacted to dogs yet, so I think I'd be a good fit for many different types of families. I was found on the streets in a colony that was being "cleaned out" by unhappy neighbors and a rescuer in South Florida found Candy's Cats. They transported my sister, Alaina, and I, along with two other kittens that were in the same colony, to safe love and care with the wonderful fosters of Candy's Cats. I can't believe I went from fending for my little self on the streets to foster care in a rescue, with a promise of finding my furever family. There's just one last chapter to add to my story to create a happy ending- my adoption day! Are you the one? I promise you won't regret giving a little guy like me a chance! I'm an awesome little cat!

Thank you for your interest in one of our adoptable kitties. All of our kitties are fully vetted (age-appropriate vaccines, spayed, tested for feline leukemia and feline aids, and they are microchipped.) They live in private foster homes with their foster families. Our adoption fees are $75 - $125.

In order to match the best home for our foster kitties, we ask folks to complete our adoption application in advance; simply go towww.candyscats.org/forms. You will need to register on our site, then fill out an Adoption Application. We'll review your information and get back in touch with you.

Cats are not adopted first-come, first-served, but rather the best home for the kitty, but we do give consideration to the folks who take the time to fill out the application in advance. Almost all of our volunteers work during the week; to be able to meet one of our cats by appointment during non-adoption days (Saturday, 11 - 4, Sunday 12 - 4), your application needs to be filled out in advance and approved by our adoption coordinator prior to scheduling an appointment to meet with the cats.

Thank you once more for your interest in our wonderful cats; we hope we can find one that is the perfect fit for you and your home.
