Because of the difficulty getting appointments to get our rescue cats altered in a timely manner, we recently launched our pre-spay/neuter adoption program. The cat you are interested in may be part of this program and will have at least it’s first FVRCP vaccine, a microchip registered to us and will have been treated for internal and external parasites. Please fill out our screening form and after reviewing and confirming your information, our adoption counselor will reach out to you to explain the process.
I came to Candy's Cats after being kept in a laundry room for many months with my kittens. Since then, my kittens have all been adopted. Enough about them and the past, the story is now. I'm very friendly, moderately active and love to sit in your face while you're doing paperwork. I can be very helpful sorting through bills and mail for you, tossing what you don't need, making sure that those papers slide under furniture, that sort of thing. I'm not a fan of being picked up but I think that is because I'm a rather big girl (full-figured, I prefer to say) but, I'll hang out with you and go with you from room to room, when you let me. I'm very clean about my personal business and I know you appreciate that, too. I'm okay with other cats but would prefer to be your only diva. Won't you give me a chance? Thank you for your interest in one of our adoptable kitties. All of our kitties are fully vetted (age-appropriate vaccines, spayed, tested for feline leukemia and feline aids, and they are microchipped.) They live in private foster homes with their foster families. Our adoption fees are $75 - $125. In order to match the best home for our foster kitties, we ask folks to complete our adoption application in advance; simply go to www.candyscats.org/forms. You will need to register on our site, and then fill out an Adoption Application. We'll review your information and get back in touch with you. Cats are not adopted first-come, first-served, but rather the best home for the kitty, but we do give consideration to the folks who take the time to fill out the application in advance. Almost all of our volunteers work during the week; to be able to meet one of our cats by appointment during non-adoption days (Saturday, 11 - 4, Sunday 12 - 4), your application needs to be filled out in advance and approved by our adoption coordinator prior to scheduling an appointment to meet with the cats.
