Candy's Cats

Because of the difficulty getting appointments to get our rescue cats altered in a timely manner, we recently launched our pre-spay/neuter adoption program. The cat you are interested in may be part of this program and will have at least it’s first FVRCP vaccine, a microchip registered to us and will have been treated for internal and external parasites. Please fill out our screening form and after reviewing and confirming your information, our adoption counselor will reach out to you to explain the process. 

Hi, my name is Reeda. I was found abandoned at an apartment complex, confused and starved for affection. I'm here to tell you about myself because I didn't do well at our adoption center -- loud noises and sudden movements are a bit much for me. I'm scared of other cats but I'm all hiss, no bite, but because of my fear I would prefer to be an only pet or only with another docile, non alpha cat. I've met a dog but wasn't sure what to think of it so a dog may be OK depending on its personality. I'm sweet and love to be pet and brushed and would be ideal for someone who spends a lot of time at home. I'm the purrfect companion kitty, content just to be in the same room with you. Am I the forever kitty for you? 

Thank you for your interest in one of our adoptable kitties. All of our kitties are fully vetted (age-appropriate vaccines, spayed, tested for feline leukemia and feline aids, and they are microchipped.) They live in private foster homes with their foster families. Our adoption fees are $75 - $120.

In order to match the best home for our foster kitties, we ask folks to complete our adoption application in advance; simply go towww.candyscats.org/forms. You will need to register on our site, and then fill out an Adoption Application. We'll review your information and get back in touch with you.

Cats are not adopted first-come, first-served, but rather the best home for the kitty, but we do give consideration to the folks who take the time to fill out the application in advance. Almost all of our volunteers work during the week; to be able to meet one of our cats by appointment during non-adoption days (Saturday, 11 - 4, Sunday 12 - 4), your application needs to be filled out in advance and approved by our adoption coordinator prior to scheduling an appointment to meet with the cats.
