Flounder is a great little boy. He was sent to Doc's after an episode that nearly killed him. Not only is he positive with Corona virus titers, but he actually exhibited signs of FIP. Although currently healthy, whoever adopts him needs to understand that he may require extra care in the future. After spending 8 months in a cage at Doc's waiting for a good home, Flounder came to live with me. He is the smartest of all the cats that I have. He will converse with you on command. Ask him how his day is, ask him what he wants for dinner, ask him if he's the one that knocked over the fruit bowl on the dining room table ... He loves his pet betta fish named "Sushi" and can be adopted with him as well. One of his most endearing qualities is the white paint drop on his head, other than his goofy eye for which he is named and his crooked lip.
More about FlounderIs Not Good with Dogs, Good with Cats Special Needs: Flounder had the classic symptoms of FIP. Instead of being euthanized, Doc trying an experimental treatment, and good thing he did, it worked!!! He is now a healthy happy, nearly two year old boy. He doesn't know his own strengths and plays like a kitten because as a kitten he never had the opportunities he has now. Please consider adopting him with a housemate, Sassy, Lucas or Chapalu. |
