Because of the difficulty getting appointments to get our rescue cats altered in a timely manner, we recently launched our pre-spay/neuter adoption program. The cat you are interested in may be part of this program and will have at least it’s first FVRCP vaccine, a microchip registered to us and will have been treated for internal and external parasites. Please fill out our screening form and after reviewing and confirming your information, our adoption counselor will reach out to you to explain the process.
Hikari is a beautiful male Seal Point Siamese kitty that was found in a colony where he was apparently dumped. He was being bullied by the other cats there so he was rescued, vetted, neutered and sent to a foster home where we could fully assess his personality. He started to become ill and was diagnosed with kidney failure but was successfully treated. He was changed to another foster home where he could get one on one attention and care. Unfortunately he became very ill again, where he stopped eating and his gums turned white. He then was diagnosed with a bacterial infection that affects the red blood cells in his body. He has been treated has successfully recovered. To speed up the adoption process, please go to www.candyscats.org/forms , click on the Adoption Application link and when you have completed the information requested, our volunteer will reach out to you. We do not adopt on a first-come, first serve basis but rather we adopt our cats to their new families according to the best fit for the cat. Again, thank you for your interest.
