Because of the difficulty getting appointments to get our rescue cats altered in a timely manner, we recently launched our pre-spay/neuter adoption program. The cat you are interested in may be part of this program and will have at least it’s first FVRCP vaccine, a microchip registered to us and will have been treated for internal and external parasites. Please fill out our screening form and after reviewing and confirming your information, our adoption counselor will reach out to you to explain the process.
Ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls, I would like to introduce you to Fiona!!! Fiona is a 3 year old 15lb tortie! Yep. That is correct - 15lbs!!! She is spayed and up to date on all her shots. Yes, in the photos that is my kitchen table she is laying on. See how big she is compared to the chair! She likes to be elevated so she can position herself is such a manner that when you walk past her, you will just naturally pet her! She loves that whole petting, scratching thing. She is easily trained, so if you don't want her on your counters, just tell her "no". However, she will be all in your face every opportunity she has while you are working on your computer. She is happiest when she is next to you - and if you happen to reach over and give her a scratch, so much the better! Fiona is a quiet cat. She is good with children of all ages and with dogs, but she needs to relearn how to play with toys. She loves to be brushed and will let you rub her tummy!!!! How many cats do you know will let you do that!!!! Fiona likes to lay on blankets, towels, clothes, and off the ground beds that look out a window. She isn't much for being picked up and if you should pick her up, she will chat with you about the situation. When you have completed the information requested, our volunteer will reach out to you. We do not adopt on a first-come, first serve basis but rather we adopt our cats to their new families according to the best fit for the cat.
