Because of the difficulty getting appointments to get our rescue cats altered in a timely manner, we recently launched our pre-spay/neuter adoption program. The cat you are interested in may be part of this program and will have at least it’s first FVRCP vaccine, a microchip registered to us and will have been treated for internal and external parasites. Please fill out our screening form and after reviewing and confirming your information, our adoption counselor will reach out to you to explain the process. 

I AM SO READY FOR MY NEW HOME. I USED TO HAVE A FAMILY 6 YEARS AGO BUT ONE DAY THEY  FORGOT ABOUT ME AND LEFT TOWN. I DON'T UNDERSTAND WHY THEY LEFT ME OUT IN THE STREETS I GUESS I JUST DIDN'T MATTER TO THEM ANYMORE. I WAS RESCUED AND SAVED AND ONE DAY A WONDERFUL MAN ADOPTED ME BUT ONE DAY HE FELL AND INJURED HIMSELF AND WE COULD NOT STAY TOGETHER ;-(. HERE I AM AGAIN HOMELESS WAITING FOR THE THIRD TIME TO GO TO A NEW HOME. I DON'T NEED MUCH, JUST LOVE A COZY BED AND A BOWL OF FOOD. 

THERE IS SOMETHING ELSE ABOUT ME, I MUST BE THE ONLY PET. I DON'T LIKE TO SHARE THE LOVE OF MY FAMILY WITH ANOTHER PET. I WILL ADJUST TO MY NEW HOME FAIRLY FAST. AS YOU CAN SEE MY LIFE IS BEING ABOUT STARTING AGAIN AND CHANGES ARE NOT A BIG DEAL TO ME. 

Please see into this girl eyes she is so sweet, but because she doesn't get along with other pets she is not allowed to wonder out of her cage in the fosters home. We foster more than one cat at a time and this is why Shantel is kept lock up. She will do great in a home were she is the queen of the house. We can tell that she is sad and full of so much love to give. She loves to be brush it helps with her grooming. Shantel is a bit over weight and makes it challenging for her to groom, some brushing helps remove shedding hair and she loves it. Shantel's diet at this time is a 1/3 cup of dry food twice a day and a spoon full of can food also twice a day on the side can't mix it lol :-). Can food is better to control cats weight versus dry food which is full of more calories. Can food gives cats hydration and dry food helps remove tart from teeth and excercise mouth muscle. If you are looking for only one pet she will be the one for you! Open your heart and your home for Shantel.
