Because of the difficulty getting appointments to get our rescue cats altered in a timely manner, we recently launched our pre-spay/neuter adoption program. The cat you are interested in may be part of this program and will have at least it’s first FVRCP vaccine, a microchip registered to us and will have been treated for internal and external parasites. Please fill out our screening form and after reviewing and confirming your information, our adoption counselor will reach out to you to explain the process.
YAHIMA IS STILL TO SMALL TO BE ADOPTED AND WE ARE HOPING AND PRAYING FOR A MIRACLE SO SHE WILL NOT HAVE TO GO THROUGH SURGERY. SHE WAS BORN THE NIGHT THAT HER MOMMY WAS CAPTURED WITHIN TNR(TRAP-NEUTER-RETURN) EFFORT TO CONTROL CAT POPULATIONS. IT SEEMS THAT BEING TRAPPED SRTRESSED MOM OUT AND SHE GAVE BIRTH EARLY. MOMMY GAVE BIRTH TO 3 KITTENS AND ONE PASSED AWAY 2 WEEKS LATER. YAHIMA WAS A BIT WEAK BUT WITH LOVE AND CARE SHE PULLED THROUGH ALONG WITH HER BROTHER GUARIONEX! YAHIMA WAS BORN WITH A REVERSED STERNUM, AND THERE IS THE POSSIBILITY THAT SHE WILL OUT GROW OUT OF IT AND IT WILL GROW PROPERLY. IF NOT SHE WILL REQUIRE SURGERY TO BRING HER STERNUM OUT. SHE IS A CUTE AND ADORABLE KITTEN WITH 7 TOES(HEMINGWAY/POLYDACTYL), SHE IS JUST SO SPECIAL. SHE WILL HAVE A NORMAL LIFE AS LONG HER STERNUM IS FIXED AND WE ARE HOPING THAT SOMEONE OUT THERE WILL FALL IN LOVE WITH HER AND HELP US WITH THE SURGERY COST IF SHE DOESN'T OUTGROW THE STERNUM ISSUE. LOTS OF GOOD VIBES, PRAYERS AND ENERGY WILL BE NEEDED FOR HER! UPDATE 12/5/2011 Yahima has grown to be a beautiful kitty she no longer needs the surgery. As Dr. Rick mention she did outgrew the reverse sternum. She will be ready for adoptin very soon! It would be great if she gets adopted with her brother Guarionex. New pictures are post it!
