Because of the difficulty getting appointments to get our rescue cats altered in a timely manner, we recently launched our pre-spay/neuter adoption program. The cat you are interested in may be part of this program and will have at least it’s first FVRCP vaccine, a microchip registered to us and will have been treated for internal and external parasites. Please fill out our screening form and after reviewing and confirming your information, our adoption counselor will reach out to you to explain the process.
I am a very sweet but shy girl. When I get comfortable I just love pets and scratches. I was dropped off at Animal Control by some people who thought I was blind, and a Candy's Cats volunteer saved me. Turns out I just had a skin condition that cleared up completely with a dose of medication - my vision is fine and I look beautiful! I like other kitties or would be ok as an only cat. UPDATE: Recently I developed a polyp and infection in my ear that had to be removed surgically. I had to recover from a large incision in my jaw (see picture) and now I am relearning how to walk, eat, potty, etc. I am slowly making progress in my recovery, but my equilibrium was affected and I may never be a "normal" kitty again. Funny thing is though, since the surgery I have become a total lap cat! I really adore attention and affection. Despite my rough life so far, I am a sweetiepie.
